Annual Silent Auction announced

Greg Sumner from the Still Point Zen Buddhist Temple writes:

Members and Temple friends: In the month of September, after the summer recess, we will hit the ground running in preparation for our annual Silent Auction extravaganza! It’s an open house type of event, with music by Magnifico and some light refreshments.

It’s one of our community’s most important fund-raisers, and lots of FUN too! Please start thinking NOW about classy/creative items to donate–art, services, gift certificates, cool household or yard items (no “garage sale” stuff, please). Think outside the box! You can begin bringing your items to the temple for storage after Labor Day, and alerting us in writing about your donation(s).

Consider soliciting friendly businesses for possible donations. Charika Geri Trombley has Non-Profit Tax I.D. forms you can give them in exchange. Spread the word to friends and neighbors! We need donations and we welcome visitors!
