Heather Storeng writes:
“You are invited to attend a Mindfulness Retreat at the beautiful Ronora Lodge in Watervliet, Michigan, during the weekend of June 14-16, 2013. Together we will discover the ingredients for living deeply in the present moment and realize peace and freedom through the practice of mindfulness.
Through mindful breathing we will practice stopping, quieting and looking deeply at the seeds or qualities that open the ‘heart of love.’ We will explore how to develop our true presence – the best gift to give ourselves and others. Together we will learn how to ‘selectively water’ the seeds of loving-kindness, compassion, joy and equanimity.
The intention of this retreat is to encourage a shift in energy and awareness toward a level of love. Practicing with others, you can invite a fresh direction with guidance (teaching) and observation (example) of an assembly of highly disciplined practitioners.
Our teacher, Jerry Braza, Ph.D., is a Dharma teacher in the Thich Nhat Hanh lineage and former Central Michigan University professor and author.”
